The Lockport Township Democratic Organization has been in existence since approximately 1954 and is run by neighbors and friends who live in the Lockport Township area.
If you would like to participate, we would like to meet you and explore how you can help our party and perhaps choose to become more involved in America’s self-governance. With your help, together we can aim the direction our government takes. If you have a complaint, we can help you do something about it!

CANDIDATES
We are always searching for passionate neighbors who would like to run for office. There are times when there is not a democratic candidate on the ballot for a position. Come to a LTDO meeting or Contact Us to learn more about where you might like to serve your community and you can request our help with your campaign.
PRECINCT COMMITTEE PERSONS
We have several openings for Precinct Committeepersons. We can appoint you to a vacant position between elections and guide you on the relatively simple process of getting on the ballot; the next election for these positions is in April 2020; Contact Us or come to our next meeting (see home page) to ask to be considered for an appointment to an open position (you can serve in a precinct other than your own). The position requires contact with voters in your assigned specific precinct–answering questions, reminding them to vote, and voter registration are the main tasks. If you are comfortable speaking with your Democratic neighbors on a one on one basis, this is a perfect choice for you! Contact Us
PHONE CONTACT
If you prefer to let your fingers do the walking, we have several “get out the vote” campaigns you can work with us on. You would be calling people from our voter rolls and introducing our candidates or inviting their participation in educational opportunities between elections.
